WHAT IS THE MICHIGAN COMMUNITY FOR EMOTIONALLY FOCUSED THERAPY? So happy that you asked! We are a warm & welcoming group of therapists in Michigan who see couples & families using the model - Emotionally Focused Therapy (or EFT) - an attachment based theory - created by Dr. Sue Johnson. We come together for monthly meetings to help each other, collaboratively, continue to learn the model of EFT in a safe environment in order to better serve the couples and families of Michigan and the midwest region. All of our members have completed some level of professional training in EFT (through ICEEFT). If this is YOU and you would like to join us - connect with us anytime! And, if you are learning about EFT for the first time, we invite you to browse our site - learn more about EFT, trainings, opportunities and we hope to point you in the right direction! It is wonderful to connect with you!

We know that love makes us vulnerable, but also that we are never as safe and strong as when we are sure we are loved.
